Terms of service

1. the agreement

these terms are an agreement between you and Jhon Kenrick Villaces, the maker of lightbugs. by using lightbugs you agree to them. if you do not agree, please do not use the app.

2. your content

everything you write, photograph, film or record is yours. we claim no rights to it. because your content lives on your device and we hold no copy, you are responsible for backups — erasing data or deleting the app removes your notes from this phone, and we cannot recover them.

3. acceptable use

use lightbugs for lawful, personal purposes. do not reverse-engineer, resell or misrepresent the app.

4. no warranty

lightbugs is provided “as is”. we work hard to keep it reliable, but we cannot promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free. to the extent the law allows, we are not liable for lost content.

5. purchases

if optional in-app purchases are offered, they are handled by apple under apple’s terms. refunds are requested through apple.

6. changes

we may update these terms; continued use after an update means you accept the new terms.

7. governing law

these terms are governed by the laws of the country you live in. nothing in them takes away the rights the consumer law of your country gives you.
